PROMOTING PEACE THROUGH EDUCATION

Rebana is an Indonesian Baptist Relief Organization based in Jakarta. We are educating 25 kids from one of their children’s homes called, the House of Joy, located in West Timor, Kupang, Indonesia. These kids range in age from kindergarten to high school, coming from refugee families who fled the violent armed conflict which eventually led to the independence of Timor-Leste from Indonesia in 2002. RIEI tuition scholarships of $3,700 keep 25 of their kids in school for one year. That's $148 per child/per year. A brighter future is being built!
